NEW Release! DELTA – a Five Track EP. Taking its driving force from a slow heavy blues groove and.. having a trip. The five tracks are an opportunity to offer music, (out takes) that normally wouldn’t be given a public airing – but the slow pulse and formidable direction of music is worth exploring at leisure.

DELTA – part one. This is the complete and final mix. The backing riff evolved from a part added to an early version and proved inspirational. The finished track went with it to produce a slow blues groove.
DELTA – part three. There is no part two. Three is the second version. This outlines the main original heavier style, based around a two part riff following the drum tracks.
Tracks 3 / 4 / 5 are where the development and the mood of the piece were heading. It was a surprise to strip it back and make a less busy but still varied piece that more represented the original idea of a slow blues on a heavy driving drum backing. And we still didn’t really catch that.

Peace In Gaza is the music project; ‘Western Democracy’s’ sonic response to the horror and the violence being endured by innocent men, women and children right NOW, in the areas of Gaza currently plagued by WAR –
The sounds are a reaction and our notice to these cruel and hellish events.

These are the first FIVE tracks made available for release by Old Magnolia Studios (OMS) of music by Western Democracy.
Western Democracy is a heavy, blues rock based experiment. With strong leanings to a cosmic blues palette of sonic input and a defined emphasis on creative improvisation.
These are an introductory release. All are instrumentals, (we have no vocalist currently) and they are offered as Demos/Work in progress – but fined tuned with some care for your ears.
It is seriously recommended that listeners use high-end kit, quality headphones or Hi-Fi speakers.
