That sums up all O M S activity since mid/late Nov 2025 to today: March 2026
Which is crazy.
Anyway: A track, in many mixes, exists. Tentatively entitled: ‘Democracy Blues.’ I highly rate it and have been determined to get it finished and out, released to the public asap – But, it forever fails to end, or sit happily, or generally be considered complete.
God knows the bloody thing is. But still it remains entombed in a its secret hide out on a Mac HD.
Anyway, in other news:
STUDIO GEAR:
Marshall ORIGIN 20W Valve Amplifier: Now fully installed, running as a DI link for recording – Sounding ok with the range of effects pedals for signal processing …
Combined with:
Katana BOSS Solid State 50W – Now fine tuned for a natural low gain full powered drive tone/sound. No effects from panel employed, working well with pedals, AND: blended with the Marshall for a dual – two amp output. Also USB\DI output to Mac for recording with BOSS Tone Studio software.
A few Guitar Hangers for the few guitars are ordered, a plan is underway to wall mount the pedals on a board for ease of access and to free up some more floor space. Which is now hugely improved by the removal of the exercise bike.
So, a much, much creatively conducive zone and space is now established.
Also: for the pedal board: a Palmer 12 port Power Supply – Had to choose from high cost to good outputs, this is great: Palmer PW12 Power Bar
A power screwdriver and drill also added to allow for a few hardware tasks. Unused atm, awaiting a few more elements and the time to properly organise and plan.
I think that’s it – The November – March recordings are good but proving very hard to edit to a release point. So the track awaiting some more leisurely mixing. Maybe it needs a screaming deadline approach.
Also, a musician Kyle, from Denver has voiced interest in a collaboration but is at busy – So I will return to that. He’s a Rap singer\musician.
Possibility of a creative task with a Sight+Sound group. Will update if that happens.
